'm looking at extended warranties. Does anyone have any experience with ALA? My Porsche warranty expires soon.

I'm trying to work out if I should stay with Porsche on my Cayenne Turbo or go with ALA. Do ALA use Porsche original parts if there is a fault? For example with a transmission related issue do they replace the transmission with a Porsche part?

Any experience/feedback with these guys would be appreciated.

Actually never heard of it.

IMO the only Warranty worth considering, if your car qualifies, is the Official Porsche one. Not the cheapest premium, but the best and most comprehensive, and adds value if you ever wish to sell privately.

3rd party warranty co's don't have the best reputation on here.

I can't speak for Ala specifically but there was a thread last year about an M5 where the warranty company tried every underhanded trick in the book to get out of paying the claim. Be careful.

My experience was that third-party warranties are full of exclusions and of no value. They will pay on the small claims, but not on the big ones - which is exactly the opposite of what you want. Porsche warranty or insure yourself.
