A golf ball hit my boot spoiler and has broken a chunk off of one the ribs. So, I need to replace the spoiler cover. Does anyone know if the (plastic??) cover on the spoiler can be removed or whether the entire unit has to come off/be replaced?

Also, I lifted the spoiler to inspect it using the button on the dash and the spoiler kinda ground and shimmied up, like it needs some lubrication. Any ideas how to do that/where to lubricate?

Car is a 2006 C2S. Many thanks

The ribs are available separate - part number 997-512-241-03 and are about £250ish from Porsche I think (Genuine only I believe).

They come off in various parts and do separate from the engine cover but I don't have removal instructions.
