Bringing home the "Bacon"
Discussion
With the 911 being the car of my dreams for the last 30 years, I have now picked up mine. :D
1997, 993 C4S, manual, black /black, full service etc etc.
Picked the car up on Saturday lunchtime in Yorkshire and had a brilliant drive back home to Angus in Scotland, trying out the big reds several times when I almost failed to notice the camera's ...oop's. :o
My friend who was with me asked if I wanted some music as he played around with the Sony. I told him to leave it swithced off, opened the window and told him that this was all the music we needed.
Spent Sunday morning washing and polishing to learn where all the small marks and stone chips were and was surprised to find very little marking on the bodywork.
Sunday afternoon, took my darling understanding wife :yuck: (only joking) for a drive into the hilly and twisty countryside but unfortunately it pi**ed all day and put the dampers on things a little.
I am going to the Doctor tonight to see if he can remove the lunatic grin from my face.......in the Porker of course.
Appreciate all the good advise (V.S., are you ready for that drink? :drink:) during my search and I am delighted to be now driving my dream car.
:cloud9: :driving: :bounce:
