2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S

Looking for some help with my wife's 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S.
Car has recently been in storage and the battery fully discharged and would not start. Car jump started & battery re-charged with trickle charger and car driven for about 40 miles. Car garaged with trickle charger wired up. Next time car started it ran for 5 seconds then cut out. Now unable to start, even though battery appears fully charged & in good order. Porsche dealer now in lock down.
Any idea?

Sounds like the battery has failed. It's quite common if they are left for a while and not used. I think the newer 911's are very hard on their batteries..

I agree it’s likely to be the battery’s at end of life. Buy a new one from Euro Car parts for £100+ and I think they are delivering at the moment

My 997 is in a garage 100 miles away. It has an old Porsche battery and I know it’ll be dead when I can next get to it. I expect to have to buy a new battery
