Buying a 996 C2 or C4 Coupe or Cab 2002-2003

Hi guys,

Been looking to buy a used low milegae 996 and having been round various dealers, main or independant I have noticed that the price for similar models and mileage can vary tremendously (Sometimes by 10K!)

As this is going to be a long term car I need to make sure that I make the right purchase and from the right dealer.

That in mind what should I be looking out for with a car of this age ? I don't want to go over 20,000 miles max so am expecting to be paying in the 40K's for it

What should I be paying for, for say a 2003 C2, 12K miles and some extras ? from private, main or independant ?

Some advice on what to look out for would be appreciated
