US Spec GT3

Just after a bit of help as totally new to Porsche.

The country I am in has a temporary freeze on import duty on new cars so I'm looking around for a LHD GT3 or GT3RS but it has to be new and also given circumstances looking for something priced keenly otherwise I won't bother.

Can anyone tell is the speedo in MPH rather than KPH and can it be changed in a setting or is it not digital?

Also any other thoughts on the car and price. It's a MY2018. It is a version 2 right? It has no European warranty and I guess has been sitting around for at least a year, maybe more. I guess the seats will make resell hard, people prefer the buckets? Also not sure it has the extended leather upper door and dash, does not having it put people off? Any thoughts, anyone know the particular car?

It has a Two Speedo's...one dial to the left of the rev counter which will be calibrated in either MPH or KPH depending on the home market for the car. It will also have a digital Speedo which is in the middle of the Rev Counter which can be calibrated in settings to either. I do the latter when taking my car to Europe...so my digital Speedo is reading in KPH. Hope that helps.

It looks like it does have the leather interior; the plastic dash and door tops wouldn't have stitching on the top, and the glove box lid wouldn't be alcantara. Anyway, it looks exactly the same as mine, which has leather dash etc with red stitching.

Whether you should buy a car with comfort seats or buckets is a holy war discussion. There are plenty of people out there who prefer the ease of access that the comfort seats provide, although they are cheaper on the second hand market. The only way to decide is to buy a car with the seats that you want in the first place, as they're prohibitively expensive to change if you get it wrong, especially to go from comfort seats to buckets.

Thanks for the comments so far guys. Agreed on the seats by the way, get what you prefer makes sense. But on the other hand I'm limited by supply as can't see any other new GT3's for sale, and the new GT3 RS's (of which there are a good few) are too expensive for me. What happened, did Porsche stop building the GT3 quite a while ago but kept producing the RS?

Anyone have any thoughts on it being a MY18 and been sitting around for a while?
