Any one had one go on the last generation Diesel (958). Garage haven't done any Porsche EGR before so I guess its just wear and tear at 10 years old.

Its a PITA position to get two at the back of the engine bay.

anyone had one replaced in the past or is this a one off?

Its having a brakes , discs , service and EGR so not looking forward to the bill later today :-(

What is an EGR compressor? Never heard of one on a passenger road vehicle?
My Boxster GTS was due discs and pads when I got rid, that does sound like a slightly scary bill might await you.

Maybe compressor was a bit overkill , EGR valve body and inlet manifold.

The EGR valve can malfunction and fail, causing specific symptoms to appear in your Audi’s functionality. The valve may be stuck open or closed, which can cause very different and very significant side effects. Depending on what type of valve your Audi is equipped with, you might not be able to diagnose the issue based on its symptoms alone.

Think its a shared part with Audi..
