981 Cayman GTS door pockets - borken
Discussion
Hi,
Stupidly I have broken the long thin drivers door pocket on my 2015 Cayman GTS . (LHD). I took the car to porsche and they say the part is not available to order individually but rather I need to order a complete new door card - over 2k GBP plus fitting.
Has anybody else experienced this and is there a cheaper solution?
Would be happy to hear
Thanks
Paul

As an example ..... one of my pse actuators failed - OPC said that the actuator was not available and that a whole system would be needed @ £2500!!
The actuator is a simple part found on so many different cars.
After doing some research, I found the actuator part number from an American porsche website - called the OPC and gave them the part number ..... £80 incl postage
£20 to my local garage blokey for fitting it = job done
Moral of the story - don’t trust everything your OPC tells you and DYOR!

Do you have the part number?
Is it on here?

This site may help provide the number
If you navigate up a level is gives you all the finish options.
I do see the door trim here being a lot cheaper than euro spares but in the US. Even after shipping and tax it may work out better
