Hi,

Went on Porsche Track Experience - Warm-up really enjoyed it. Got the bug a bit of doing more track/training days. As I take my own car need to sort insurance. I got quoted for the day £325.64 with £2000 excess for a £17000 Boxster from Sports Alive. Other quote was £117.56 with £1178 excess and labour rate max at £80 an hour. I would have to pay the difference. I fancy doing a half day at Millbrook Proving grounds with an instructor...

Milbrook is not a track day and might not be covered by a Trackday policy. PEC is generally not covered either.

I use Mannings and never had an issue

I switched from Reis after they didn't make a note of track days i told them i was about to do which of course could have ended in disaster plus a lady there ( Mary) was rude so i moved on

I had Moris, great to deal with after a hiccup at Blyton Park. Now insure fully with Jack at Mannings. A little more expensive than the cheapest, but included in the normal road insurance is unlimited UK trackdays with the option to cover European trackdays too (for £250 extra covers upto £100k cars).
