Just wondering exactly what will be at this event this coming weekend given how watered down most meetings now are.

Looks a decent schedule of racing and practice that starts around 10am...

Yep. I am interested as well . I am only 10 minutes away. Has been excellent on previous 2 occasions i went 2017 and 2013 i think..

Unless the owners club pack out the grass areas with cars not sure if it will be the same...

The MSV website said there was limited tickets due to Covid but they may not necessarily mean less displays maybe just less visitors.

In some ways less is more if you know what i mean !

I went to the Festival Italia event 3 weeks ago at Brands Hatch, same concept, they had all the owners clubs there, Alfa, Ferrari, Lamborghini etc, no shortage of cars / bikes on display, visitor numbers were down, South Bank was quite busy with spectators, we had seats in the Grandstand at Paddock (they were dirt cheap) and people sat in their own bubbles, no distancing issues at all.

The racing was fun too.

I understood the festival was cancelled. The Brands website shows just a couple of races on Sunday.

Limited tickets and no displays.

I did ask on the PCGB forum but couldn’t get an answer of what PCGB were contributing to the event. That said in other correspondence one member of staff there said they would be at the event on Sunday so I’m not quite sure what the situation is.

I’m thinking there will be some stands and downplays but the crowd attendance will be limited.

Without any more info I could of course be completely wrong !

I thought PCGB had said that it was effectively moving to next year, with just the racing going on this year.

That now looks to be the case then tks

Shame really if no display cars but it is what it is as they say .

Well done PCGB for at least sticking to the racing

What a thoroughly enjoyable day - superbly organised, fantastic races and cars on display, and incredible value for money for a whole day out. Thanks to the organiser and participants, was pleasantly surprised not to have received anything other than interest and appreciation towards my lowly 718 Cayman 2.5GTS.

There were some fairly serious off's, all drivers OK - and hopefully there's some footage to appear soon. Well done MSV!

I agree the racing was brilliant and well organised

Sad that there was no displays as such but as you say enough owners cars to look at

I saw your GTS in crayon ?
I followed you in ( I was with kids in a red evoque so couldn’t bring Manthey)
Lovely car looks fab

Haha, thanks - mine is gentian (front and centre of pic below facing toward camera), but that Crayon GTS did look rather sweet biggrin and I wasn't parked far from there. I'll definitely visit again next year. Black Cayman GT4 was great to see in the metal, first time I'd seen 982 GT4.

Considering the number of cars and people everyone following SD etiquette and it felt like a genuine enthusiast day to me. Plenty of GT3 for eye candy. Car of the day for me? A beautiful 356C in dark blue, what a car - oodles of character, and stunning condition. 56 and a half years old, and still going strong, kudos to the owner and thanks for bringing it out.

My eldest lad and I drove down from Leeds to watch the racing and support the Strasse cars. I'd read that the Porsche Club event stuff was cancelled so went in the normal car instead, rather than the 993.
It was a great day of racing, the weather was glorious and Brands circuit is superb with most of it visible from the Paddock Hill Grandstand.

You were parked just a few cars down from mine, you're 100% correct great cars, and yours is a credit to you. Didn't see you to chat, hope to next time! Cheers.
