Porsche 996 rear windscreen rubber seal replacement
Discussion
Tried searching but can’t find anything so apologies if it’s repeated.
The seal is going on the rear windscreen. Flapping a bit at the top and curling away from the body at the bottom corners.
Disappointingly, Porsche Guildford were unhelpful and a joke so...
Anyone know a decent Porsche body / glass specialist in the South East (I’m based in South Surrey) that I could trust to carry out the work?
Thanks in advance.

I did mine myself. It was just tucked in, not sealed. It wasn't perfect when it first went in but after a short time it settled down and flattened off fine.
Thanks for the heads up. I’ve thought about DIY but I’m not that way inclined! I’d get someone in to change a plug... so defo need a professional. beresd said:

It's a common affliction on the 996 rears. With a bit of luck and patience you can fettle a new one in but, technically speaking, it's a glass out job (the trim will come as a kit so well worth changing the frame while you're at it).
