Anyone know how long Porsche tyre sealant lasts in unopened container? Mine shows an expiry date of 2016. Looks crazy expensive to replace at £75

Anyone used the Airman sealant available on Amazon as an alternative? Looks good value at £20 - if it works!

Holts tyreweld. Considerably cheaper with good reviews.
The issue with the Porsche hoop is that is has been known to spontaneously expand and cover the frunk with sticky mess.

I carry an Airman kit, with their sealant. My understanding Porsche is just a rebrand of theirs

If you aren't taking them up on the extended warranty, job's a goodun. Guess what one of the 111point checks is?

OPC noted on my warranty renewal that sealant was out of date - but still put the warranty on without having to buy a new 'in date' sealant.

Mine is in for an MoT soon. The sealant expired in April so I have bought one from the Amazon link. However I'm going to leave the old one in where it should be and the other one in the side net in the boot and wait for the call for money. amongst a multitude of other mistakes last year my OPC wanted to charge me for 2 new brake callipers because they had broken one on strip down. Let's see if they can redeem themselves.

The amount Porsche charge for the sealant is extortionate.
Their practice of always including screen wash and a litre of oil in every service, is also very annoying. Every time I get a service I specifically ask them not to include screen wash and oil but they always do anyway.
They really should realise that the potential monetary gain they may get is far outweighed by the loss of goodwill.
