As you can now spec ppf on a 992 does anyone know when this is applied? ie at the factory or somewhere near the OPC upon delivery? Or would I be better getting this done myself?

are you owning the car outright and keeping it ?

as 85% cars are not owned I don't get the ppf thing protecting the finances company value of the car.

OPCs out source the work to other companies.
Where are you based?
Look around as the OPC price will most likely be excessive.

I believe it’s at the factory not dealer fit and not particularly good from what someone on here said. Either way it will probably be cheaper and Definitely better getting it done yourself

That's not what I was told by my OPC. Guidlford get it done at Reading.

I’ll be buying outright, I’m a 15%er.

I visited my local OPC earlier and they said it is applied at the factory.

Mine was done at the factory - I spotted a couple of tiny marks under the PPF on the wing which was then replaced at Reading.

for many reasons predominantly cost and ease of getting any issues sorted without dealer faff I would go with a well respected local ppf fitter

It’s £1300 for the front end.
