I'm not an amazing driver and even my 4 with PDK is a real treat, I agree with most points in this great vid in that the 997.2 is not overly complicated from the driver's seat.
As I mentioned in past comments, I do get the same "what's the fuss" if I drive it like a daily, it is exceptional at being ordinary if you leave the PDK in normal, auto mode.
But this gets me into the car more often and when the opportunity comes, you can still wind it up and have a great time.
I suspect other Porsches (Cayman, Boxster) from the same era are just as good at the same brief and I'm surprised they didn't mention Porsche's own competition in the vid. I have never driven either of the mid engined variants but they are nearly as practical and much more affordable.
