Targa Newfoundland 2006

Let me please bounce an idea off you chaps...... I've always wanted to drive the Targa Newfoundland and seeing the film of the 2004 run I've got the urge to do it in 2006.
I would be bringing my 996 Targa over from Germany but need someone who is a Porsche plumber and also a co-pilot to come and share everything. Obviously I'm still at the thinking/costing/feasability stage, but if anyone would like to share costs/work and fun, please give me your thoughts (also off site through my handle if you want).
It will be run in Sept 2006, and would land in Halifax NS and drive up to NE, do the run, take a couple of days getting back to Halifax, then out. I've not done anything like this so far away so any useful comments gratefully received!

complete with a lot of useful info etc......
Getting to NE is no problem as there is a daily AC flight from LHR to YHZ via St Johns NE, and is fairly cheap... am getting various other infos together now but need support....
