PCM 3.1 v4.63

Hi there, I have this PCM in my cayenne and for some unknown reason my radio is not working. I've tried re-booting the system (handover) but this has been unsuccessful....started researching, as you do, and its becoming clear there are some bugs in these systems. Mine is a 3.1 V4 63, to fix this problem and stop my girlfriend from singing (badly) in the car, am I looking at getting a updated disc from Porsche??

What are the symptoms? I had an issue with mine when a cable became unplugged in the PCM which caused it to get in a reboot cycle.

The radio is not working, the stations are there on the pre-sets but no sound and also the phone is not going through the system.

The Map/Nav seems to be ok

bit of an update for those who may have similar issues...

Twas raining yesterday, happened to see some water/dampness in the rear loading area (o/s) panel and up on the roof lining by the small quarter window. upon further inspection the spare wheel cavity was all wet. I understand the radio/amp is located in that side panel so it would appear that we have some sort of water ingress in that side area, been suggested it could be a blocked drainage channel....

just thought I'd mention it.....
