white spots on black exhaust tips

Anyone else have this? I'm told it's characteristic of the tips.

I had that on my GT4. Tried to get new ones under warranty but they wouldn’t have it. But they did clean them up, did a pretty good job and it hasn’t come back yet.

My 981 CGTS was similar, it's the blackened finish that's prone to it by the looks of it.

Comes with the territory....

When I had my end of year detail last year - mine were repainted with high temp paint... seems to have held up well so far, almost another year later.... That said, they'll be coming off permanently now anyway.

Yep, three sets on my gts too, it’s a warranty issue. The black treatment does not last

Heck I might as well replace the exhaust with Stainless or Ti hahaha
