No photos, no descripton, horrid wheels, wrong seats.

What's it registered as? What condition is it in? Other than the colour, I know fk all about it.

I wouldn't even pay £2,356 for it unless I at least knew it was road legal

ETA: It's registered as a Porsche (which doesn't sound right), and the MOT ran out three years ago.

Same seller has dozens of cars, bikes, boats etc. for sale. Just wondered if it was a scam of some sort.frown

Harry Lee Miller is certainly selling a large number of interesting stuff. So it may not be a scam, or a dog.

Having words genuine and replica in same sentence just doesn't work .

It’s a scam.
Seller wants to be contacted outside eBay.
Loads of vehicles, all of them with no real description. He even has another 356 replica for sale!

It looks like one of the photos is showing an email address and a request to deal outside eBay. It's pretty clearly a scam.

Just tried to bid @ £75k but ebay aren't allowing it (or £1,000,000 either!)

The guy's acting as an unsolicited sales agent. I feel sorry for the owners being dragged into this guy's fantasy world.

I have just reported this seller to eBay. At best he is breaching eBay rules, you aren’t allowed to advertise on eBay then conduct the sales away from the platform to protect buyers. At worst it is a scam, looking at the listings I think 100% scammer. If something looks too good to be true, it is.

Harry Lee Miller is most likely a genuine eBay seller, but....he had a weak password, his account has been hacked, and 00s of fake adverts have now been posted under his name. Why do I say this? Because the scammers find an account which already has 100% positive feedback and hack it; saves them having to create a new eBay account (with zero feedback) and then trying to persuade people that they have multiple desirable vehicles for sale at way below true value.

I'm never entirely sure whst the scam is in these cases.

Do people really bid on, and pay for stuff based on such poor adverts?

If not, what's the scam?
