What do people think of the reality versus the recent speculation?

1. Bonnet scoops not as deep as I thought they would be
2. Spoiler looks even better than I thought it would (screw the touring)
3. Launch colour looks great
4. Wheels look great but ditch the blue surround

What do others think?

Blue looks great. Rest of the car underwhelming.

I think it's jumped the shark (blue)...

First impressing is that I still prefer the 991.

Rear spoiler is a bit different but no doubt I’ll think it looks ace once I’ve seen one in the flesh.

Hate the bonnet scoops - they just look silly in my opinion.

10bhp more, 10lb/ft more and a double wishbone front end plus the 992 Starship Enterprise interior and challenging exterior looks.

As a track tool I bet it's great if only a slight improvement over the old car, but it's lost the "cool" factor for me. It doesn't grab me like the 991 did.

Same, I suspect it may grow on me but the design language is too... fussy for me. It just looks a bit cobbled together. I'm sure it'll be a great car to drive, time will tell if I come round to liking the looks.

Not sure I like that blue either boxedin

I tried all colours on the configurator and didn't like any of them. I think "mule" spec actually might be the way to go - black everything with red steels.

Call me old fashioned but I’m so chuffed it’s showing a six speed manual option which is a great result. A manual but not only a manual but a six speed one over the silly seven.

However ... 64 lites fuel tank and an average of 22mpg. ... Ideal car for the Pyrenees but getting there would take at least three fuel stops and when there wouldn’t give a decent driving range. It Should have at least an 80 litre tank imo.

But then I’m maybe just old fashioned ..... lovely lovely 911 anyway smile

Extended range fuel tank only available on left hand drive unfortunately.

Drove a MINI GP Series 1 around the Pyrenees back in 2008 and averaged 16mpg in the mountains. Lovely twisty fast roads but guzzled fuel at an alarming rate. That was a 1.6 225BHP motor. I very much doubt this GT3 would get close to that.

Like you say, shame they dont offer the larger tank on the RHD cars.
