Hi all

I'm keen to hear from those who have owned or currently own the petrol hybrid cayennes

I'm considering one as a daily driver, and would appreciate anyone who has experience giving feedback

I'll be an out of manufacturer warranty owner, and also looking to use it for towing a track car a few times a year. The plug in variant appeals, as my daily commute is only 50 miles total, and could be a very cheap experience....... maybe???

Which variant is it? My Dad's got the Turbo S-E Hybrid and I think that only manages about 17 miles on battery before it starts to drink fuel. It may shock you how thirsty they can be when going over the battery range. It's probably very economical if you're staying within battery range, and probably woefully so if not...

Very comfy to cover ground in though, even on what I believe are 22" wheels.

2019 e-hybrid Cayenne Coupe here - summer electric range probably 25 at best, so unless you are charging both ends, you will be using the petrol engine. Its a fantastically comfortable drive, plenty of poke too even in the non-turbo version - it feels as quick as a 992 base model to me - lovely cabin, good seats. Get upgraded leather package. For town driving its great on electric, but the idle when the engine kicks in is unpleasant after you get used to the serenity of electric. For a more cross country commute, without stop start, engine is smooth. Don't know about costs - I've done 6000 miles in a year and a half, and 80% of that has been electric - so cheap in that respect. Not had a service yet. Deprecation has to be the biggest cost, but seeing as I would have to pay as much for mine now as I did in Nov 19, that's hard to judge seeing as the market is so strange. I bought it as a stop gap before getting a Taycan, but I have become strangely attached to it, so much so that I am questioning the Taycan change..
