Help requested for data for project

I would appreciate some help with 2 simple pieces of data for one of our current engine efficiency optimisation projects that aims to provide reductions in emissions and increase mpg so that future engine rebuilds will help contribute to the legal use of our cars in the years ahead when legislation might place restrictions on them.

I already know from years of analysing data from customer cars that surprisingly - the average speed over the lifetime of one of our cars is in the region of 34 mph (mileage/running hours recorded).

(1) I would appreciate a very general estimate of the average revs most of you find you are driving with when at a constant speed in traffic.
Whether driving in 30, 40, 50 or 70 limits – if you could just occasionally (and safely) look at the rev counter and make a mental note of the revs you most often see (or their average).

(2) Similarly if you could notice the revs you usually change up at (or when your Tiptronic or PDK changes up at) when you have the opportunity to accelerate and decide on a general average – that would help too.

Then if you would kindly E-mail it to me stating “average constant speed revs = ***”, “average gear change revs = ***” OR just “AV CONST ***”, “AV ACCL ***” to [e-mail] I will then average the results.
