Wheel Refurb in Berkshire

I've managed to curb a Carrera Classic in my Boxster and need to fix it otherwise it'll drive me nuts. Can anyone recommend a decent mobile repair service in the Pangbourne/Reading area?

Ask OPC reading to get it done for you... they’ll send the wheel off to Platinum Alloys in Swindon (formerly Lepsons) usually and it will be back within the week. Have used this service before, when OPC damaged my alloys.. they paid for full refurb of all 4 to ensure of the match.

Other than that there is Elite Wheels on Portman Road...i haven’t used them myself... but pretty well regarded I believe.

OPC Reading! Why pay a premium to them better to go direct if they use Platinum in Swindon.

My point about using the OPC was they could sort out getting the wheels there and back if you just speak to service advisor.
No premium to pay if you’re nice.… the pick-up and drop off is a couple times a week… might save the OP a joinery considering we aren’t really supposed to be travelling out of our local areas just yet?!

It was an option. Others are available.

Mixed experiences of Platinum. One great job on a BMW, one poor job on diamond cut Porsche wheels (and a marked seat where they put an axle stand). Won’t go back. Use Reinventing the Wheel at Tewkesbury now. Bit far for you but very good. No connection.

Anyone know what the going refurb rate for a regular set of 19" Porsche wheels (not diamond cut) still around £80 a corner?

Do they do discounts via owner clubs? or am i better off doing it through my local OPC?
