Hi all,

A few days ago I had a puncture on my Porsche Panamera 4S on the left front wheel. My car is normally fitted with 4 Michelin pilot super sport tyres, but I just found out that the garage replaced the punctured tire with a Michelin pilot 4S.

Is that legal? And if yes, is it safe?

Kind Regards

JD

yes its legal

the supersort was replaced by the PS4S which is likely why they did this.

safe, depends on how you drive, i wouldn't normally be a fan of mixing tyres period but definitely not on an axle

I'd be changing the superport on that axle to match the PS4 personally

Thanks guys. Yes, I might have to do that. Even though I had the supersport changed on the other side 1 month ago :-S

I would qualify the above excellent points with...

Is the replacement tyre the same speed rating and load index? If not, I would go back to your garage and raise a stink.
