Not convinced that's genuine? Polish plates, old exhaust system?

That's interesting... a bit RWB in current guise....
Running pretty large wheels, together with the arches...
Lets see where it goes...

Total random guess?

An EV platform disguised as an ICE car with whatever parts will fit. Wheelarch extensions as the EV is wider than the current Cayster, foam in the arches as they're testing suspension - we saw them on the 718 GT4 back in the early days.

A widebody F4T seems a bit odd, so a new platorm underneath a disguise makes sense to me.....

yes, that definetly makes sense. A shame, a widebody NA cayman would have been nice.

Compare the rear of the this car, under the rear diffuser, to the new mule. In this pic you can make out the cannisters of the exhaust system. On the new mule, I can see bracing running laterally across the car and the twin exhaust tips don't appear to be connected to anything resembling a silencer.

I think my initial guess might not be bad one?

Next Cayman will be a milk float with lots of those horrid touchscreens, which I dislike immensely.

The EV stuff sounds plausible, tho another option is the "Safari" variants that Porsche has been flirting with on-and-off. There's certainly been an official Safari 911 test mule with wider arches spotted at the Ring in the past.

+1 and also very distracting and dangerous, your eyes should be on the road not pissing about trying to adjust the temp/ watching pornhub etc etc.
