I recently bought a 987.1 Boxster S. The dealer advertised it has having an Ocean Blue interior but I can’t seem to find that online. I suspect they actually meant Sea Blue. I just need to touch up a few tiny marks on one of the door cards, so was going to buy a small pot of leather dye (I know the cards aren’t leather but it will do). Your thoughts please.

Ocean Blue is an interior option on 997 generation 911s, so I think they are corect.

Here's the brochure for the 987 Gen 1 Cayman (same as that Boxster, but with a tin roof)...

See page 47 of the PDF.

Great information, thanks. The Ocean Blue in the brochure doesn’t look the same as mine but I guess that’s just a poor representation of the colour. The nearest colour I could find with Colourlock (great company for leather care products) was Sea Blue. It will probably do as the marks on my door cards are tiny - see photo below.

I was also fascinated by the wood finish on page 52. Did anyone really go for that?

Ocean Blue and Sea Blue are the same colour on 987/997 models. The English brochures state Ocean, the PET parts catalogue state Sea. But in both cases there is only ever one blue on 987/997 models.

It is discussed here. http://www.911uk.com/viewtopic.php?p=1574800

Thank you and to all who have replied. PH members come up trumps again. It looks like Ocean Blue and Sea Blue are one and the same then.
