Not only for Porche, but in most cases, Carvertical reports are most detailed compared to other decoders I've tried.

I don't know about free ones but i recently used the one at Suncoast parts for $10
I used it for my 986 boxster and 991,2 GTS and it gave a full breakdown and arrived in a about 12 hours.
