Just had pani glass roof cassette leak and damp boot wheel-well electronic modules that were throwing fault code repaired under a warranty that I thought had elapsed. Jolly pleased I had it.
V8 S Diesel engine with repairs that may need engine out to do, + pdk gear box and transfer box (already changed) suggest repair could be expensive if you self insure.
You call as always but think I’ll be extending. Does home assist come in the deal too?

thanks for the info, should have said my car is a petrol.
I have had one headlight replaced and the two tail lights replaced with severe condensation, seems to be a fault with them.
cost for the extended warranty below..

1 year warranty extension - £940 (+£175 roadside recovery)
2 year warranty extension - £1,690 (+£285 roadside recovery)
3 year warranty extension - £2,540 (+£385 roadside recovery)

I’ve got a 2017 V8 S Diesel on the drive….great car and I wouldn’t dream of running it without a warranty. I actually think the warranty is mis-priced on a Cayenne vs something like a Boxster which costs pretty much the same. So much more to go wrong !!!

We had a sensor go in the exhaust system which took several visits to sort out. Something like that would get chuffing expensive if you were paying for it.

Yes realised you were petrol, not sure how much cheaper they are to repair but I know from experience of others on a VW V10tdi (which had one of) was eye watering.
I also have experience of some big bills on a earlier V8S petrol air suspension system that had several problems inc compressor needed. Should add my cars do an amount farm duty inc towing.

Depends on how risk averse you are. I wouldn't dream of it (not running extended warranty), provided you have an understanding of the T's and C's it would be a no brainer for me. YMMV.
