Group 1 & 2/3 Car Seats - Advice

Just a post on what I have found to be the best group 1 car seat for use in the rear of my 997 (with seat pad removed) but also likely many other sports cars that have bolstered seats. The Maxi Cosi Tobi fits children 9 months to 4 years and has a really secure seatbelt fixing that locks the seat into place and keeps the child in a full 4 point harness until they outgrow it.

This seat is so versatile it also fits in myriad holiday hire cars and as importantly in the passenger seat of my TVR Griffith.

I have one now surplus to requirements (contact me if you are interested) as I've switched to a Joie Duallo for group 2-3 use. This fits even better in the 911 and has deployable Isofix mounts for cars that are so equipped so is even more versatile. It does need a small pad under the seat to keep it stable on the bolsters in the TVR but it has a fairly narrow base so will fit most cars I believe.

Hope this helps anyone in need of this information, I know how hard it is to find this kind of information myself!
