Porsche Cayenne 2021 - squeaks

Asking for advice on the following issue - my brand new Cayenne 2021 has some annoying squeaks coming from the tailgate. Every time there is some torsional force exerted on the chassis (e.g. an uneven road, a speed bump), the car squeaks like crazy. I noticed the rear light also squeaks in a similar way when when pressing in from the outside while the car is stationary.

I am not sure what to do. The guys at the local service are quite incompetent at solving such problems and I thought looking for some advice here! Thanks a lot.

Tell them you will reject the car if you have just collected it. Is it being looked at by the supplying OPC ?

Ooh. Squeaky tailgate is a know problem - I’ve read about it on the US-bases rennlist forums. If you do a quick search there in the gen 3 cayenne forum, there’s a thread about it and how to (usually) fix it. It’s all to do with adjusting the bumpers on either side but I can’t recall the specifics.

It might be the solution.

Got my Cayenne in 2018 and overtime went over speed ramp got squeaking from tailgate area, removed parcel shelf and all good now

Thank you guys. Adjusting the bumpers did it for me. First covered them in cloth to isolate the problem.
