Hi folks.

I just got my car back from a service/MoT ('85 3.2 Carrera) and was told that the tyres, especially the fronts, are wearing more on the inside than the outside and that a full geometry check/re-set is required.

Does anyone know of a good place in Surrey (the closer to Esher the better) that can do this at a reasonable price? Would be good to know whether the full geometry setup is required or whether just getting the tracking sorted would help.

Thanks. Phil.

You can try GT One (Station road) in Chertsey, they've done mine a couple of times and do an excellent job. I'm local to them aswell (Weybridge).

Yep, I'd recommend GT One as well. In fact they are doing exactly this on my Box S at the moment, along with other stuff that needs doing.

I'd seen them recommended on PH but instead of booking the car in by phone I paid a quick sneaky visit to do it in person so I could meet the guys as well. Afterall, you meet your doctor before letting them do any work on you so I figured it was kind of the same thing for my car

What I found was a group who seem to really care for the machines they are looking after and so far they've been top notch for me as they have been very thorough and yet at the same time have been balanced between what needs doing now and what can wait/ is not important.
