How to remove molten rubber after trackday?

Tar remover doesn't work, probably because it's rubber not tar!
I use Autoglym's Intensive Tar Remover. Seems to work well enough for me! It does need plenty of rubbing and will take the wax off so the whole car needs to be re-waxed.
My process is:
1) Wash Car for the first time. This finds all the bits that won't come off with Zymol car wash stuff.
2) Go over car with Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover
3) Wash car for second time. Find a few more bits.
4) Go over remaining bits with Autoglym Tar Remover
5) Final Wash and rinse.
6) Leather car
7) Wax Car, wiping off with an old towel
8) Use machine polisher to buff swirly wax into a deep shine.
PITA. Takes half a day. Then the inside/windows etc need cleaning. Whole process can be a day's work.
Satisfying when its gleaming in the garage though. Ready for the next track day!

Interesting that you should ask Johnathan..The micro bar absorbs moisture from the air more efficiently in early morning and late evening....Oh and on Sunday mornings
Ah all very interesting Steve, but I'm not that I agree. What I've found is that the Zymol clay bar works best on white paint during the mid-day heat of a May day bank holiday monday.
Also works well for removing soiled areas of the passenger seat, but only in the evening when it's still warm............
