Apologies for the slightly poor pics - it was very overcast at the time. I would like to know the name for the paint on this Panamera. It is a blue grey in dull light, unfortunately I didn’t see it again when the sun came out. Many thanks.

Almost impossible to be sure from a picture on a screen, but I think it looks like Atlas Grey.

(speaking as someone who owned an Atlas Grey 997 for about seven years)

Hope that helps.

This Aventurine Green is an interesting colour. Almost grey in overcast light:

But very much an olive green under the sun:

Thank you, yes that is helpful biggrin

I should perhaps explain that I’m trying to narrow down colour choices for a vehicle respray so I’m looking for the actual names where possible!

I’m after an interesting darkish metallic with either blue/grey or possibly green characteristics in sunlight. These colours are fairly close I think. Graphite Blue is nice too actually.

Think it's too blue for Atlas, but it's been a while since I had my Atlas coloured car.

If you have the registration why not call you OPC and see if they can tell you the exact colour code.

I went to a car show with my son once and saw a car painted in "House of Kolor" Purple, it looked black normally but when the sun hit it, it looked amazing.
Maybe there is a similar effect with a Blue / Green.

Depends if you want a factory colour or not.

My vote would be since you're doing a respray why not pick any colour you want smile

Both look pretty boring colours to be honest.

Atlas car for sale here: https://mrsportscars.com/listing/porsche-911-carre... - it can look very blue in some conditions.

The thing that swung it for me was the gold & purple fleck that's visible on the OP's photo of the front wing / bonnet. My current midnight blue 997 doesn't do that.

I could well be wrong of course, conditions, camera etc. make it impossible to be sure. I was at Brands yesterday - shame I didn't see this one in the metal...I quite like it!

...might help

Or you might just lose hours and hours of your life browsing. In which case, apologies!

Actually, looking at other pictures of that colour, I think I have to agree. Ahem...

This is Atlas grey directly after a clean in full sun. I don’t think it’s as blue as the Panamera in your picture

That’s what my Atlas 997 used to look like. Am not saying the ad on the link further up isn’t Atlas but mine never looked or photographed like that.
