Hi all ive been offered a very nice manual c4 cab in speed yellow with hardtop also with low owners from new 3 and Full porsche history. it had 65k miles on it. Extended leather dash hardback shell seats all with deviated yellow stitching. Do you think its worth high teens?? I am out of touch with the 996 market.

Sounds about right to me.

Still worth getting an PPI done though.

If you can get the car for £16-17k, it sounds a good buy although the usual comments apply about an inspection & checking the online MOT history to see if there are any recent advisories & when was the last service (& what?) as well as when the last major service was (& the next is due)? If the car is pre 2002, it’ll be on an annual recommended service regime & post 2002 maybe every other year, or miles (whichever is the sooner) - if it’s a post 2002 & it’s been serviced annually, it’s hopefully a good sign of how it’s been treated. Also check the tyre age as some low mileage cars can have tyres that are 8-10 yrs old on them & it’ll affect the ride quality & your wallet!

Based on that recent spend which future proofs a lot of the usual suspects judging by the send level, at 18.5 its a good buy, he probably could have outed it at 16k before the spend, so job jobbed, and sounds like you are comfortable with the history, is it worth scouring the market for an 'unknown' car to maybe save a grand ?

Totally agree i was just surprised they were still commanding these higher figures. I paid less 12 years ago when I bought it when it had 1 owner 30k miles!! but I still love the car, wish id never sold it
