This will be the last Bedford evening of the year.

These events go from strength to strength being a fantastic oportunity to enjoy safe track space with considerate and friendly drivers. Only 30 cars on a 4 mile Circuit which must be the safest in the country.

BBq booked for after. I understand that Porsche GB will the there on the evening along with the trade press. If anybody wants a run around in my RS or any tips about preddling a 911 around mail me privately and we can arrange it for the evening.

Hope to see you there. You can book on line on www.fastrakdays.com

As they are evening sessions, i think daylight will be the limiting factor i think.

Yes, Glenn is correct, we did one in September last year and by 19:30 it was getting dark. It was a little weird because all you could see was other peoples headlights.

This one should be good. So hope to see a lot of you there.

Steve, whats "Predlling"???

Cheers Sean

I can highly recommend these evenings loads of track time good advice and a BBQ to finish off and discuss your demon driving.

Hi Steve -

Can I grab one of those spaces please.. And if you get a chance at some point would you mind spending a few laps with me in my car as you did last time.

Cheers

Would jump at the chance of a ride in your RS as I was thoroughly impressed by those at Dijon/Magny Cours last week. However due to be at Oulton on the 2nd (my favourite UK circuit by a country mile) so maybe meet up with you another time.

Am seriously interested in finding the right Mk2 GT3 Clubsport, but why are so many RSs up for sale right now ? I found 7 listed since looking over the weekend. Given only, what, 100 in the country, that seems high. Ceramics also seem to be a definite no no - any views ?

Well I have given up trying to sell my RS so will be dusting off my best Hawaiian shirt and my Miss Daisy driving gloves and coming for a blast! If you will still have me of course...

As for why there are so many RS's for sale I have this as a thought. A lot were bought by speculaters and people who wanted the ultimate NA 996.

There has been a lot of rubbish written that the RS is too compromised for the road. Bolax! I, as have many others, have taken our RS's on many long distance trips across the UK and Europe in great comfort and surprising economy (well ok as long as you keep it below 130mph). The GT3 and the RS are the ONLY carsthat you can drive to a European track event, rag it rotten for two days and then drive home without bits falling off or breaking down. Could they be the last truly dual purpose super cars? I think so.

As for the ceramics, £900+ converts anyone of then to Brembo or Alcan so that is not a consideration as you would have to do that with a steel braked car if you intended to track it.

And finally Esther... Mine is for sale at £69950. My reason for sale is that I have only used it 4 times this year due to business commitments.

SO....

See you at Bedford, well I need to keep the Ginger ones Penis Extension honest and keep the Essex end up!!!

See you next Tuesday.

Steve & Paul Y, as per my other post, am actively looking for a Mk2 GT3 Clubsport right now - however an RS at the right price COULD be a possibility. Are you at Spa 10/11 by any chance ?

At £69950 it IS the right price!! I will even throw in a JournoGimp shirt, cant say fairer than that...

Not at Spa too busy with work but am going to Silverstone on the 24th.

If you want to have a look at the car drop me a PM or call me, number is on the advert.
