Has there just been a price increase across all Porsches or just 992 models?
When did that happen as I am due to get mine any week now!

Well they are the most profitable car maker. Basically, they have something that buyers want!

If you're due to receive yours imminently, it will be at the original price.

If you're due to ORDER yours imminently, it will be at the new price.

Are they not the most profitable by percentage of turnover?

I think it was profit per car. For some reason they refer to them as units.Source was a senior Porsche salesman.

Not a chance on turnover the last time I looked. Then you would have to add in there turnover from there carbon fibre factory to get a true picture of what they are worth.

You should be fine, as long as you've got a deposit down, even if you don't have an allocation.

Prices went up on Monday with no warning. I have a Cayman GTS allocation that locks on 13/12. Met with sales guy yesterday who confirmed no price rise applies and I can still change the spec.

Whilst they are part of the biggest car group by revenue ££ they still need to recoup costs which have increased substantially from Covid, reduced manufacturing, supply chain issues and rising costs overall.

Not sure about the first bit. Deposit paid but no allocation yet is unclear.

I'm not so sure about that. I had a deposit down in December 2020 prior to the price increase earlier in the year. When I finally locked in my spec and my final build was officially submitted and put on the system it included the new increased price. I can't see how they would bypass that unless your OPC is going to discount your order!
