I may be moving on my 911. It has about 18 months Porsche warranty on it.

I don’t want to get robbed trading it in. But nor do I want to spend time entertaining time wasters and the nosey.

What is the way forward? Motorway? Collecting Cars? Give it to my local OPC to sell on commission?

I think the warranty makes it particularly attractive and that will be lost if I sell it to trade.

I think I get a free advert on PH, but the last one was not productive.

Thoughts chaps? I appreciate that it is an age old problem, but with new routes to market coming online I suspect things have improved.

Put it on motorway, their normally pretty good and reflect the current market conditions. No work on your side other than a few pictures on the app.

PH still works my friend. I put my 987 Spyder up and sold within a week. Right car, right spec. right price and they go no problem..

Assuming you have the Porsche extended insurance warranty, rather than the original 3 year factory one, provided you haven't made a claim on it you can cancel it mid-term for a partial refund. I did this when I sold mine earlier this year.

It's a 997 GTS PDK of 2011 as most were. A price might make this an advert!

This and sell to whoever gives you the highest price in the shortest time - motorway/wbac etc..

Speak to Tom at 911 Virgin - they are always keen to buy good stock and I bought my 997 GTS from him a few years ago. I've now bought another and sold 2 cars to him, recommended him to others and never been disappointed. He's a very straight talking and totally trustworthy guy.
Give him a call - pass on my regards.

In the current market, it sounds like the kind of car that dealerships would be fighting over to have in inventory

Not Tom, but I gave 911V a call this afternoon. They quoted quite a fair number, but said I may get more elsewhere.

Stick it on collecting cars, buyer will only pay £3k on top of the price you get. I'd suggest probably the way to get the best price for you with the least hassle.
