If you're saying this is an issue with a engine which has had a Hartech rebuild then surely the first port of call is to speak with Hartech?

Is it under warranty? Who did the work?

This is a strange post. Could understand if you posted the picture and asked for opinions, without the supplementary info that the engine was rebuilt and who by. And I could understand, if after investigation by the outfit that rebuilt it they said it wasnt scored and you wanted opinions.

But to post including the rebuilder, a picture and alluding to problems with their work on other cars without any source, all before having contacted them to investigate seems a bit out of order.

I'm not having a go just seems like an odd way to go about your business
