Hi, planning a tour of Scotland with 6 Porsches in late April.

Anyone know of mid priced hotels outside Inverness where we car park up the cars off street. We'll be coming from the Ullapool direction on A835 so west side of Inverness ideally

Preferably something sub £100 B&B with a bit of character and a wee bar (or walking distance to one smile )

Haven’t stayed near there but can recommend A836 Lairg to Tongue road.

We stayed here last year, the rooms were comfortable rather than posh, plenty of parking with a stand out restaurant and good service.

It’s got a hotel bar but we didn’t try that and a ten minute taxi ride from town.

They might do a good price for a party requiring six rooms.

Drove from here a round trip up to that bridge a great day out.

The Royal in Cromarty

A little off your main route but decent location, safe parking(We parked 10 motorcycles overnight)

Expect that area to be expensive for good accommodation - always on the high side and 2022 is likely to be very busy.

We stayed there this summer on our NC500 tour. Nice chalet rooms, good parking, and an absolutely superb restaurant.

I found a nice potential one here. Plenty of character and £110 B&B.

Lots of safe parking too ...the trick is to get a bit away from Loch Ness.

We ended up getting that Culloden house for £99 B&B using booking.com. Great considering rooms go for £400 in the high season.

Also found this cool place to stay the night before.

Yeah, I'll post it up here when we get it all plotted for anyone else that might want to use it.

Talking to the Hotel Managers a few said that last week in April gets you in before the real crowds hit the place from start of May.
