89 3.2, perfect body when bought 1yr ago save for tiny bubble around offside headlamp and similar on rear panel of drivers door shut..things progressed slowly and passenger side door shut showed similar bubbles.ok..brought it to known specialist for some attention to the moving bits and he suggested whilst it was in his body work guy sort these bits out. ok.no discussion or feedback during time away. picked it up and saw even tinier speck on headlamp surround of raised paint..hmm.
the guy, who seems a nice bloke...says yeah, the body guy was umming and aahing about advising you to have a new wing...(but did not tell me)
car went in to dehumidified storage for 2 months..
now 5 months after repair all affected panels are almost back to where they were at beginning of process....£1500..
my feeling is that 100% if the guy had said he even thought it needed a new wing(ie was not confident he could effect repair) it would have had it...
as for the door shuts....
very disappointed...
advice on best approach appreciated...

Personally I would expect something to be done about this,£1500 for work that has been undone in under 6 months even if the car had been sat out in the drive for 6 months i'd expect better than that...

Has their been any offer of making the job good or have they indicated that they are not going to do anything to help???

First things first just explain calmly as you have done here and see what is offered.

Good luck
