The 'ring with 1350 BHP of Lambo, - what a weekend
Discussion
Of couse, I meant 1350 BHP of Lambo, 964 Turbo S and Chimaera!
Hull to Rotterdam ferry, blast to 'ring. Suite at the Dorint, dinner at Pistonklase. Dryish weather and laps in the countach, 964 Turbo S and TVR.
A brilliant mix of cars - Lambo with 5.2 litre V12 revving to 7000 was fantastic. Incredible sound and grunt - about 450 bhp.
Turbo S was brutal on boost. Incredible roadholding, and acceleration akin to being whacked in guts with a shovel - about 460 bhp.
Track was closed for a while on Sunday - 5 car smash apparently - hope the guy/s involved are OK - especially the brit in the Atom.
Anyway, still deaf from the drive back and grinning ear to ear - can highly recommend blasting down to he 'ring via rotterdam for any other northern 'PHers.

Very likely !!
I did notice Nikki Lauda did it about a minute quicker than Sterling (oh I forgot to mention that), but then again he crashed it on the next lap.
I couldn't see the lnk, but I guess it must have changed between the 60's and 70's. The data I saw had no mention of any change.

Yeh the Lambo sounded ace as it blasted about, tho I couldnt help humming the Miami Vice tune as it came into view
So Lizard, back in your skool dayz did you have Athena's poster of the Countach or the Testarossa on your wall? In my school, we chose one car and stuck to it, forever arguing which one was best.
I was a Countach kid!iguana said:

Which would be a somewhat bizarre thing to do as I don't remember there being a Lambo in Miami Vice.......
Still, you're probably just too young to remember.
