Wow those extra badges.

Are you sure the silver bits are additional and not original, I am sure I have seen that effect before,

Wheels look like turbos, although I thought they came in 19s, ours were, but probably available in 18s too.

Yeah, quite something aren’t they? Might have to have the tailgate one gone sooner rather than later - the wings look less obvious. Silver bits may be original but not my cuppa tea… despite what I’ve just bought, I’m looking for a very classy looking car. The midnight blue is - i feel - the right place to start but definitely got some work to do!

Interesting on the wheels, I thought the same having only really seen them in 19” on some S models.

Wheels will be replicas, not much value in them. Always 2nd hand geniune wheels available, often with old winter tyres and very little use so should be good and round.

Thanks, good to know! What’s this based on, the fact that they’re 18s? Would be great if you had any idea on value of them.

Simply the fact they're not genuine (so probably heavier). If they are Porsche they will have a Porsche part number on the back of a spoke.
Personally always thought that turbo wheel style was one of the worst they produced so would be the first I'd change anyway.

Dodgy badges aside, that really is a lovely colour. If I get another Porsche I'm definitely going for Gentian Blue, which is quite similar to that.

As above - Porsche didn't make those 997 turbo wheels for the Cayman as an 18" they would have been 19"

I was trying to find a screenshot of the options brochure, but i cant find it right now, that style of wheel was only offered in 19” search ebay or D911 for turbo “style” wheels and you will find yours.
I waited for around 6 months for a set of genuine wheels that i wanted to turn up on ebay for mine, yours will certainly be useable, no need to swap them out straight away.
I still have my turbo 2 replicas and i swap them on to my boxster for when i dont use it over the winter, i was thinking of selling them but i think they’re only good for scrap value.
(Id also set an eBay alert up for cayman bootlids, i could live with the wing badges, but that bootlid!!!)
