Taycan salary sacrifice (options)
Discussion
I’m considering a Taycan estate (sport preferably, not cross).
The one I’m looking at , or more accurately is available via Zenith is the 4s.
M keen to know what ‘essential’ options should put on it, and the ones I should consider.
Bearing in mind this is not focused on resale and I have to consider the monthlies, I’m keen to know what owners have thought most useful.
Currently the car works out around £850pcm without options and I know adding goodies can whack that up! With that in mind I’m going to configure with must haves and then see what other niceties will add up to.
From my local OPC, I got the following
I would say the 93KwH battery Performance Battery, 150Kw On Board Booster and 22Kw on board AC charger as far as the electric elements.
As far as specification:-
Fixed Panoramic Sunroof
Nice Alloys
Leather Seat Package
Sports Chrono
Bose Sound System

If you don’t have 3-phase electricity at home then you can save £1,200 by dropping the 22kw on-board charger. The one I’m looking at , or more accurately is available via Zenith is the 4s.

The problem with extras on a lease is that they seem to amortise the whole cost over the lease - so they are disproportionally expensive .
The pano roof is nice , not sure I'd bother with bigger wheels .
Is Bose not standard ? It wasn't impressed with it .
Battery sounds like a good idea - wrt the charging I think there are some comments about it from people that know on the 4s thread .
I guess lead time is about 12 months ?

No 3 phase so dropping that.
Lots of agricultural land around here so the dealer probably assumed (I’m being nice).
Another issue is that I’m 6ft and ‘large’ whilst my Mrs is 5ft and slender. I want memory seats (memory package, £257), I would prefer it linked to the key, not sure if that is available or cost. She also demands heated seats (£308)
Bose is an option, £956, not sure if it is an essential?
