Decent hotels near Silverstone for Porsche Experience Day.

I am attending a Porsche experience day in July.

Can anyone suggest a decent country type hotel to stay in for a few nights near the Porsche experience centre?

Looking for somewhere that I can relax, go for a walk in the grounds, be fed and watered well and has good private parking.

Travelling time - say 1hr from the centre.

Fawsley Hall is easily the best hotel in the area.

We stayed at Walltree house at Brackley - very nice b&b, only 4 rooms I think but it doesn’t do dinner. On a small airfield so interesting area to walk around and only 20 minutes from the circuit. Also has good parking

Yep. Not outrageously expensive, decent bar / food, and nearby.

Worth checking their postcode as the one on their 'How to find us' page was miles from where they actually are, with a different postcode.

In July possibly quite a few motorsport type people around too, met Nico Rosberg in the lift last time I was there.
Will likely be fully booked for the F1 and Silverstone Classic though.
