Factory collection
Discussion
My understanding is that I can't work any more because of Brexit.
Factory collection cars come with a seven day German registration with includes full insurance valid in all EU member states. so you can drive the car for seven days which allows to drive it to your dealer where it is then registered in your home country.
People from non EU countries, like the States, could still do a factory collection, but at the end of the seven days you drive it back to Stuttgart who then ship it to the US.
Perhaps this will become available for UK customers. but it won't be anything like as good as driving your car home.
Brexit, the gift that keeps on taking away

I’m not a great fan of Smee150 but some stuff he talks about is interesting. He recently bought a new Ferrari which came from the factory to HR Owen to get prepped and registered then sent back to Italy for factory collection due to Brexit and tax implications !!! It’s a crazy world.
