Recommendations on advanced/performance driving courses?
Discussion
Want to learn to get the best out of the car
Have heard "CAT" mentioned which I believe is at Millbrook (Seems a must to try that) but the courses seem to be all pretty intense e.g. 2-3 days period and also at a pricely amount £1.5-2k+
Was wondering does anyone have recommendations on driving courses specifically for performance type vehicles not necessarily porsche - also maybe spreading out the hours over multiple weeks, as clearly you cannot absorb everything in a 1-2 day period

I've used a ARDS qualified instructor several times who I met at the PEC when he was the instructor for my GT3 slot. I've been to Millbrook with him, done road driving with him and have done and will do more track days with him. A few mates have used him and everyone really likes him and has seen benefits.
I've also done a CAT day at Milbrook. It's good but there's a fair bit of waiting around, if you want to maximise your seat time and learn more 1 to 1 for me is better because of the extra seat time and the fact the instructor is always in the car with you and a pretty similar price. CAT also don't use the hardest section (there are three) of the Alpine route because it's got blind crests and one very tricky corner which is something you can do with the 1 on 1 instruction.
