Titanium Wheel Bolts / Nuts
Discussion
Got a set of these lovely Titanium wheel bolts, thought I'd do a quick video review. I got them because, cosmetically, the originals were looking done. Pretty happy with my purchase

I think they are OK for normal use but I removed them from my GT4 because of galling ... the steel of the hub carrier was gradually stripping the softer titanium thread of the stud when torqued up to 115 ft lbs ...

Use of high speed air/electric wrenches not recommended. And for a regularly tracked car, I'd be looking to change to wheel studs, though not the usual stuff out there, you need proper flanged and splined studs that are pressed into the hub :

Not a good idea then. Safety and warranty concerns.
Stick with steel.
Warranty I'd not know, but safety wise, these guys make them for Ferrari and rest assured Hill engineering are very well regarded company :Stick with steel.

Added to which Ferrari themselves made them available as an option for cars such as the 360 Challenge Stradale and 430 Scuderia

I watched Mcl marketing these. Funny. Kool aid.
Look Aid? We Americans now? But also, they don’t corrode so cosmetically they are much improved. Also the old set were worn out. Lighter & stronger too - not that they need to beThe weight saving quite frankly not worth the money.
