911 “ring of light” headlight design

Sorry just a quick one here

Can anyone tell me what those Porsche 911 headlights are where the DRL is a ring of light around the outer edge of the headlight? Are they those matrix ones?

I’ve seen Mini with a similar look on their DRLs too, I suppose because they are basically the same shape as a 911s

Angel eyes? Reminds me of the fad on chavved up BMWs from the 2000s.

Nah not quite lol, this is on pretty modern 911s as far as I can tell.

Can’t even find a pic of them illuminated on google….

Are these the ones? On the 991 variant, I think they're the PDLS+ headlights

These are the standard Xenon headlights.

No problem!

I think this carried on in the 991.2 then they started using just the 4 Led dots on their models.

The 992 they used the 4 led dots in the centre of the light
