Considering a car from the above OPC. Does anyone have a view on the possible test drive routes?

I suspect very limited since it central London, but will I get as far as somewhere where 70mph is a possbility legally?

You could ask them if you can go on the west way I guess. Otherwise the route I was guided to was down / up park lane, around marble arch, into park near Lancaster gate then out on park lane again.

Up to you if you boot it briefly if a gap opens I guess.

Also, Mayfair and OPC West London are in the same group so you could ask nicely if the car could be moved to West London, which is right on the M4.

No idea if they ever do that, but you could ask.

On a good day I should imagine you'd be able to get a bit of a lick on down The Mall...

You'd need to get to the M1 or M4 as the closest points at which you can reach the NSL from Mayfair, which will be at least an hour there and back I think. I suppose it depends how nicely you ask and how serious you are.

When I search for any car I always exclude any London outlets and head North/West if I want to have a feel of what a car is like on the motorway. Can you do this with a comparable car to the one you're looking for?

As mentioned below....do it via the Chiswick OPC - its right on the M4. The Mayfair you'll be lucky to get above 40mph for longer than a few seconds.

The Westway is currently 30 mph and supposedly ASC system.

In good traffic the M1 is probably 30 mins away….but could be an hour.

Lived in London until 2015….even in the relatively short time since then the traffic has got markedly worse and then the amount of sped restrictions introduced since….e.g. the Westway.

Hi I purchased a car from OPC Mayfair and thought as it was so prestigious OPC, I thought I would have no issues.

1) I probably wouldn't like to deal with them again tbf or with certain sales men
2) Test drives- yes doing 20mph and concerns with bus lanes all over the place.
3) Get the car transferred to West London if possible although a fee may be incurred

BTW, this was for a GT product and I am deeply disappointed with that OPC
