OK, something fishy going one here. Has anyone read his page in Total 911 this month? its an article about where you park your P&J when you go to the supermarket.

Included in the article was reference to a car parked under a lamp post out side a restaurant which was subsequently covered in paint stripper, followed by a discussion about alpha males and herd instinct.

Now I distinctly recall a recent tread on this form that discussed the EXACT same matter.

So, am I missing something, is Total 911's US correspondent a member of PH, or was this is bit of forum plagiarism?

I'd believe it every time. There was a period a year or so back when two used car lots within two miles of my home were repeatedly targeted at night using the paint stripper method. Almost drove one poor guy out of business but I'm pleased to say that CCTV and some big dogs have stopped any further recurrence. Drunks still like rows of car aerials and wing mirrors, sadly.

Hang on, it was I that had my 911 C2S covered in paint stripper parked under a street lamp in Summertown, Oxford and I did indeed recall that exact story on here a while back.

So someone included the anecdote in a article, thats funny. Anyone care to scan it in and post it up just out of curiosity?

Agreed, great article, (even better when you feel a 'family' affinity to it). Fantastic magazine; I mean - just look at that front cover
