Camcorder mounting clamp
Discussion
I am looking to mount a small Sony video camera to the roll cage in my GT3.
I know a number of PHers and Titanic members use a video inside their car and I'd very much appreciate any advice on the best (ie, most secure) available roll cage mount. If possible, please advise where your recommended mount can be acquired.
Many thanks.

You need a product made by i o Port racing in the US (800 949-5712).
Demon Tweeks sell it in the UK, the part number is PEG 2420 and it costs £97.59 + vat.
Suitable for competition use it comes with a security lanyard as a backup. People try to use all sorts of mounts but this is the best one for a video camera. It`s very sturdy and you get no shake at all when properly fitted (a simple job with a spanner).
Trackdays are quite rightly clamping down on insecure cameras in the car, this will pass any inspection.
